Normally, the sheet stacks are changed within a few minutes.
However, this does not interrupt the production process, as the sheets are removed from another stack during the stack change.
A blank loader is a specialised automated handling device that feeds pre-cut sheet metal parts into a mostly multi-stage forming process.
A blank loader feeds pre-cut sheet metal parts to a further cutting or forming process.
The workpieces fed by the blank loader are sheet metal parts that are produced in a multi-stage forming process using a forming press.
Blank loaders destack sheets from a stack of sheets and feed them in a synchronised manner to a further cutting or forming process.
Pre-cut blanks can be produced in a material-saving manner and then fed into the further cutting and forming process with the aid of a blank loader.
In standard applications in the automotive industry, the stroke rate is usually between 15 and 30 strokes/min.
Depending on the application, however, a stroke rate of up to 60 strokes/min is also possible.
A blank loader from Hagel Automation is a good choice, as the company has many years of experience and expertise in the development and manufacture of automation solutions. Hagel Automation specialises in the production of customised automation systems.
Systems that were already equipped with a blank loader can usually be retrofitted with a new blank loader without any problems.
However, retrofitting to existing systems that did not yet have a PCB loader is also generally possible. The appropriate space must be available.
Depending on the size of the system, a blank loader can move blanks weighing up to 60 kg with maximum acceleration.
