Centre punch press

The axle hole press consists of a column-guided press with pneumohydraulic drive.

Mould change concept

The punching tool can be easily set up in the throughfeed direction of the system.

Shovel automation

The shovel automation takes the pre-cut blanks from the blank loader. After the cutting process, the finished blanks are removed from the press with the shovel automation and stacked on a mandrel. At the same time, a new sheet is inserted into the press and the scrap is disposed of.

Options

In combination with a coil line, discs can also be produced directly from the coil.

Blank removal and centre hole punching

In this application example, a sheet removal system and an axle hole punching machine were developed to further process a sheet that previously accumulated as an axle hole or waste.

Thanks to the system concept, the waste blank can be removed from a cutting system and then a new blank with a centre hole can be produced using the centre hole punching machine and automation.

This significantly reduced the amount of material used and meant that no new sheets had to be procured, resulting in a considerable reduction in costs.
