Standing\/hanging transfer<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Depen\u00adding on the press envi\u00adron\u00adment, the transfer system can be desi\u00adgned as suspended, upright or a combi\u00adna\u00adtion of upright and suspended. In this parti\u00adcular case, the blanks are fed via a suspended magnetic belt conveyor so that the infeed-side part of the transfer is mounted upright on the press bed. On the outfeed side, however, there is a discharge belt in the lower area. For this reason, the outfeed-side part of the transfer is mounted suspended between the uprights.<\/p>\n

How does a transfer work?<\/h3>\n

Along a multi-stage mould in a forming press, there is a gripper rail on the left and right with corre\u00adspon\u00adding tooling to be able to grip the compon\u00adents.
The transfer mecha\u00adnism performs a mostly three-axis move\u00adment to grip, lift and advance the work\u00adpieces. The work\u00adpieces are then placed in the next mould stages, the rails are opened and moved back again.
The cycle now starts again.<\/p>\n

What are the advantages of a transfer?<\/h3>\n

A press equipped with transfer can produce finished formed parts at a high cycle rate. In a three-shift opera\u00adtion, this amounts to approx. 25,000 parts per day.<\/p>\n

How fast is a transfer like this?<\/h3>\n

In stan\u00addard appli\u00adca\u00adtions in the auto\u00admo\u00adtive industry, the stroke rate is usually between 20 and 30 strokes\/min.
